Question: Write a statutory summary of subsection(g) of the statue.

The landlord must provide a written list of damages under subsection (f)(1) within 45 days of termination of the lease if any of the security deposits are withheld. The damage list must be sent by first class mail to the renter's last registered address. A cost statement must also be added to the damage statement. If the landlord does not comply with this requirement, they are not allowed to withhold a deposit for damage. MD Code Ann., Real Prop. § 8-203(g).
