Some countries are potentially dangerous travel destinations due to political instabilities. If U.S. citizens want to visit these places, they will need to plan carefully, take special precautions, and protect themselves. The U.S. State Department keeps a list of countries with travel warnings. They warn against visiting some countries altogether. Visit their current travel warnings web site at:
