This is research proposal assignment on Mathematics for economics. It covers all ranges of Mathematical models related to economics.

Final term paper:

- I will curve the grades of final term paper.

- To accommodate students with technical problem such as the unstable/poor internet connection accessibility, etc., there is a final term paper assignment.

- Write a short proposal of your thesis on any topic regarding what we learned in our class. I expect you to outline your point of view and defend it. The term paper should be strictly 2 pages maximum including a title, your names, student ID numbers, equations, etc. More than 2 pages will be penalized. Cover page is strictly prohibited. The font size should be 12 and the paragraph spacing should be single space. The deadline of submission is 23:59 pm on January, 8.

- Strictly NO questions accepted on your topic selection. It is also tested and evaluated.

- It should be in English. Any term paper in Chinese is penalized.

- Because you are a graduate student, I guess you've already had an experience of writing a thesis. It's not good to give an example of proposal for a graduate student.

- In your proposal, there should be your motivation about your selected research topic, and mathematical model specification that you use in your research. It doesn't matter how many parts should be included within maximum 2 pages. I evaluate your term paper based on the criteria of creativity, connectivity with what we learned during classes, and well-organization of the term paper. You can use any models that we learned during classes
