Task:

Prepare and write a report on the creation of a simple database to store data for a given scenario, and software that interacts with it
Coursework Details:

Select a dataset of your choice from one of the open dataset repositories (please see below). Choose a database solution of your choice to model and create a database system for the dataset you have chosen and justify your choice of the database solution, discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the database solution you have chosen to the dataset you have selected, and also discussing storage related issues and technologies. You must also implement the database solution you have chosen to your selected dataset. Finally, you must critically analyze your model and solution.

Report Structure:
Your report should typically have:
o A title.
o An introduction in which you give a brief description of the dataset you have chosen.

o The body of the report should present the data modeling aspects related to the dataset you have chosen. Then you present the database solution (SQL, NoSQL) you suggest to design and create the database system you have chosen for this dataset. You must justify why you have chosen this database solution in particular, discussing its suitability for this dataset, the advantages, the disadvantages, and the difficulties related to that. You must also briefly discuss storage related issues (depending on the database solution and the dataset you have chosen).

o An implementation part, in which you implement your solution to the dataset you have selected.
o A discussion of your work.
o A conclusion.
o References.
