IT Professional and Ethics

Instructions:

1. Students are required to research and write a report (2,500-word limit) on a given subject related to Ethics and Professionalism. Additionally, the students are required to present their findings as an oral presentation up to 15 minutes duration supported by appropriate presentation materials. 20% shall be allocated to the written report and 10% shall be allocated to the presentation component.

2. The students are required to investigate the strategies and frameworks of one of the companies Googleor Facebook in two below domains.

Domain 1: Copyright and Intellectual Property
Domain 2: Consumer Protection (Security) and Privacy

In your report you should clearly identify, explain, and linkwith the topics of lecture or theory background.Appropriate discussion has to be developed which is backed up by literature review.

3. You need to provide presentation slides for 15 minutes presentation and submit your slides to LMS (Moodle) before presentation date. All studentSS should present the report and the mark of presentation is given individually.

The criteria for marking presentation include:
I. Overall Oral Presentation: Each presenter addressed the audience and clearly and confidently explained key concepts that illustrated points in the slides. Each presenter handed over to subsequent presenter by introducing them by name.
II. Overall Visual Presentation: Slides were visually pleasing; points, images and charts were clear and easy to understand.
III. Professionalism: Presenters are neatly dressed in appropriate business attire, punctual, organised, and prepared. The presentation must also meet timing requirements.
