You are required to select a restaurant and write a report analysing the factors influencing the pricing decisions and the behaviour of costs in the chosen restaurant.
Your report should include:
a. An analysis of the factors that influence pricing decisions and how they contribute to attracting and/or retaining business in the restaurant.
b. An analysis of the various cost involved and their segregation into the categories based on behaviour.
Your report must be structured os follows:
- Part 1- Introduction: - which gives brief details of the chosen restaurant
- Part 2 - Main body: which includes a detailed analysis of: (a). the factors that influence the pricing decision and (b). the various costs involved categorised on the basis of behaviour. Your analysis should be supported by suitable explanations, graphs and appropriate diagrams.
- Part 3 - Conclusion: which summarises the points discussed, drawing your overall understanding based on the discussions above.
- The report must be supported by relevant academic literature and readings.
- References- which include all items referred to in the report

1 STAR RESTAURANT
Star restaurant is one of beautiful restaurant in South of Al Hail at the Seeb. It was opened in October 1998, from 12 Pm to 1 Am. The restaurant is multi cuisine such as Arabian, Asian, European etc.
There are different types of services the restaurant providesuch asBuffet,Al Carte, Fast-foods and Deliverservices.There are approximately four branches of the 7 Star restaurant in Nizwa, Barka and sur. The restaurant is located on an area of about 300m to provide you with the ultimate in comfort and service with beautiful and attractive decoration.
There are a wonderful group of staff, they are driving the work at the restaurant. On another hand, there are around 14 staffs working in three departments:-
