Assignment: Write a reflection essay.
Question 1: Decide on a Topic. Your general focus is your work and writing this semester, so you'll want to choose things to focus on. That might be academic habits and study skills, organizing writing and using sufficient detail, maybe it's research skills or even critical reading.Question 2: Generating Ideas and Text. Explore your subject in detail. Reflections include descriptions and details. Use the work you did in the mind map activity in the previous module. Ask yourself why your subject matters: why is it important or intriguing or significant? You may try listing, or outlining possibilities or you may want to start drafting to see where the writing takes your thinking. Your goal is to think on the paper (or screen) about your subject, to play with its possibilities. Think about how to keep readers with you. Reflections must be carefully crafted so that readers can follow your train of thought - and understand why what you're writing is important. Sketch out a rough thesis to help focus your thoughts. You may not include the thesis in the essay, but every part of the essay should in some way relate to it.Question 3: Consult the feedback and questions you received from classmates on the previous module.Start writing and produce a draft.Question 4: Ask some important revision questions:
