All guidelines listed must be strictly followed. The speech must be 5-7 minutes which is from 650 - 800 words.

The persuasive speech is designed to motivate a group about why they should not text while driving.

Typed formal outline and reference list required (to be turned in one week in advance online and in paper on your speech day)

Purpose: The purpose of this speech is for you to choose a topic which you find interesting, and learn how to effectively explain, illustrate, andmove your audience, to some action.

This speech should be given using the problem-solution, problem-cause-solution, or refutation pattern.
