Assignment Task-

A position paper is required on ONE of the listed issue areas. (Trade, Finance, Gender and Labour, Environment, aid, Illicit transfer). This paper must be from the perspective of either (1.) Developed or (2.) Developing country of your choice.

This paper must be 1500 words.

In addition a PowerPoint presentation is needed on the position paper to present in class.

The purpose of the position paper is to set out your substantiated arguments on a particular issue. This will require a logical argument that is supported by credible evidence. The position paper should include the following:

- An Introduction that clearly articulates the position that is being argued

-The body of the paper that provides the context, evidence (facts), that support your position as well as a discussion on the other side of the issue. You will need to refute arguments that contradicted your own position.

-The Conclusion where you return to your key points and provide possible solutions to the challenge.
