The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to summarize, paraphrase, and appropriately quote the work of others using technical writing standards and correct citation format.

Review the Level 2 Writing Guidelines required for this assignment.

Using the PMI Online Library, locate a peer-reviewed article related to the controversial topic you selected in a previous lesson in this course.

Here's how you start your search:

1. Click Library in your Blackboard menu.

2. Click ProQuest.

3. Click on the box next to Peer Reviewed

4. Type in search term(s) related to your topic. Be as specific as you can with your terms.

5. Select a relevant article you could use to support your topic.

Write a one to two-page summary of the article. Your summary must include the following:
a. An introduction to the article
b. Paraphrasing of 2 specific ideas or details from the article.
c. Appropriate in-text citations of each idea/detail in (b).
d. One direct quote from the article with appropriate in-text citation.
e. A conclusion
f. Properly formatted reference for the article
