We are going to discuss task, in relation to that I have written short scenarios as per the task requirements.

Task:

You are responsible for presenting the personal development strategy of Bounce Fitness in an upcoming event. The event is two weeks away and you need to prepare a ppt as the presentation resource.

Task commitments:

Prepare a power point presentation with at least 10-12 slides to present the Personal development process of Bounce Fitness.
Present these slides to the GM Human resource before presenting it in the event(7 days prior to the meeting).
Consider any suggestions made by the GM. Layout of slides:
Introduction to Bounce Fitness

Vision, mission, goals of the company in relation to personal development.

Reference to Personal development policy and procedures & Performance management policy and procedures.

Team work task:

Conduct a focus group meeting with all the team members after the presentation(4 participants including you).

The main purpose of the meeting is to get an insight of effectiveness of Bounce Fitness development strategy.
The main participants of the focus group meeting will be fitness trainers of Cairns centre. Topic: Professional development strategy of Bounce Fitness.

Questions during the meeting can be:

What aspects of the professional development strategy has influenced you the most? Is there anything your leader could have done differently to support your professional development?
what do you think about the organization's learning environment?

Anything would you like to say about organizational systems and processes during the opportunity?

Task commitments:

Informing team members about this( at least 7 days prior to the meeting). arranging for the required resources.
Conducting the meeting and recording the conclusion/findings.

Organizational work task:

You are Paul Thomas the Centre manager of Cairns Centre and in the assistance of Sally Stowe you need to organize annual team-building event for all staff members, as part of personal development strategy of Bounce Fitness.

Task commitments:

Write a meeting agenda to all the participants(at least a week before). Consider any special requirement requested by the team members.
Arrange all the required resources for the event, you must assign a few responsibilities to the asst. center manager.

The event will consist of the following:

Get team members share their personal and professional goals.

Listing the strengths of each team member

assigning leadership roles/responsibilities(if possible and applicable) to each team member. Refreshments.
