PROBLEM STATEMENT
Binary system n-Hexane (1)/n-Heptane (2) conforms closely to Raoult's law. Vapor pressures for the pure species are given by the Antoine equations (Check in your Textbook)
Deliverables
a) Write a MATLAB code that will generate data needed to prepare a graph showing P vs. x1, y1,; P vs x2,y2 for a temperature of 85°C
b) In the same MATLAB code, generate data needed to prepare a graph showing t vs x1,x2 and t vs y1, y2 for a pressure of 95 kPa
c) The code should be written to export the data directly into excel spreadsheet. This implies that you cannot copy the data from MATLAB environment and paste it into excel. Your code has to do the exporting by itself.
d) Plot the four graphs in excel spread sheet.
e) Submit your MATLAB source code for testing
f) Calculate the BUBL P, DEW P , BUBL T and DEW T V from the MATLAB code
g) Write a report on the values obtained from the data generated in a, b and calculations perform in f using MATLAB. In your report, explain in your own words the concepts behind values obtain for all your calculations and the graph generated.
