Purpose: Write a descriptive passage that shows instead of tells using the lesson from this week to help you 

Instructions:

Decide on a job you've worked in the past or are working currently. Alternatively, you can choose any job that exists, even if you haven't worked it 

• Choose a point of view for this passage and declare it in an opening intro to the scene along with the job title that you will be writing about. This intro is not part of your scene but just helps me understand what you're attempting to do
• Writ a passage of roughly four hundred words that shows the reader what/where this job is without actually telling them in the scene. The goal is to have the reader immerse themselves in the scene by offering them some sensory details. I should be able to discern what the job is from the description you give and the way you 'show' what's going on
• Your scene should be one that takes place on the job and describes the actions/people/place of a particular part of the job without 'telling' the reader.
