Assignment about business communication.

Your assignment is to write a 3-4 page (single spaced) well-researched recommendation report to Lethbridge College. See pages 408-415 (5th edition) 414-422 (4th edition) in the textbook. You may either do this assignment in a group with a maximum of 4 students or individually.

Step 6: Write the recommendation report

Analyse the audience and the purpose and select the writing plan (direct or indirect) and tone.

Write a first draft according to the writing plan in memo format, single spaced, full-block.

Follow business style: plain language, shorter paragraphs, concise sentences, use of lists when appropriate, organize content with headings/subheadings. Consider content, clarity, and skimmability.

Include in-text citations in APA style for research.

Include references in APA style at the end.

Proofread and edit the draft several times. If you are working in a group, every member needs to edit and approve the report before it is submitted.
