Question: Produce a figure using the image of the SDS-PAGE gel that you created in the practical (1.5 marks) Image files can be found in the practical 2 folder on the unit site; do not show the image of the entire gel. Instead, present only the following four lanes: the molecular mass standards, the skim milk sample, the whey pH 4.2 sample and the whey pH 4.8 sample. You can use e.g. Power-Point, or Illustrator or similar software for his task to copy and paste together the required lanes from the original image file. Indicate the identity of the lanes (what has been loaded), the origin of electrophoresis (ie the bottom of the well into which the protein was loaded), electrophoresis front (the most advanced part of the electrophoresis in the gel), the molecular mass of markers proteins and use capital letters C and W, respectively, to indicate which protein bands are casein and which are whey.
