Jim J. is a Mutual Fund advisor with Best Investment Funds. Jim is going on a road trip to Northern Ontario to visit several of his out-of-town clients. His first client, Edith James is an elderly widow. When Jim meets with Edith, Edith gives Jim a cheque for $20,000 to purchase some new investments for her account. Then it's on to the next town and client for Jim. After Jim met with his next client, he realized that Edith made the cheque out to Jim, not to the Mutual Fund Dealer. Jim does not have time to travel all the way back to Edith and so he deposits the cheque into his personal bank account so he does not lose it.

When Jim returns to his office, Jim plans to write a cheque from his personal bank account and deposit into Edith's account at Best Investment Funds.
