You are about to write a business letter on behalf of your company. Please follow the categories in the template below, and make sure you come up with a good, strong name for your company. The name and required details will appear in the company letterhead (attached).

A group of international businesspeople has expressed an interest in investing in the leisure / entertainment sector in Kuwait. These investors ("Fun Capital") have asked you to write a short Report on the subject of current social and leisure facilities for young people (aged 18-30 years old) in Kuwait. Before making an investment, Fun Capital wants to have a clear picture of which entertainment facilities are currently popular in Kuwait and which ones are most desired.

Your Report should be 1-2 page and fulfill the following criteria:

Display the correct formatting for a Report as discussed in class and demonstrated in sample documents.

Show evidence that you have spoken with at least some other young people about the subject of the Report.

Contain the details of your research including:

(a) The three most popular activities available now to young people in Kuwait;

(b) A list of activities requested by the people you consulted.

A recommendation about what facilities or opportunities Fun Capital might choose to invest in in the coming years.

As the homework due date is on 10th, 23:59, let me remind you one more time about what you need to do: Use the template document already available on Moodle. It is a single word document containing templates for both documents. Read the instructions thoroughly before you start work on the documents. The report and the business letter are to be done on separate issues. As for the report, use the blue textbook chapter on reports (p.193-218), and consult the sample of the recommendation report (p.201), as this is the type of the report you need to write.

In the part where you have to show evidence that you have spoken with at some other young people about the subject of the report it is enough to mention a few names (friends or cousins) of people you consulted. As for the business letter, please consult the red textbook, namely the sample (p.68) to help you with the format. The content of it can be any business issue you would usually have in a company of your choosing. The quality of your writing is more important than the quantity, so choose the best business words and use your creativity. Good luck and best wishes.
