My Short Story

Instructions

In this assignment, you will create your own short story. It can be based on a personal experience, or it can be completely original.
When writing your story, remember to include the basic elements that we have studied.
1. Setting: Write a brief description of the place and time in which your story takes place.
2. Characters: Your story must have at least one main character and one or more secondary characters. You must give these characters specific and identifiable traits. It is recommended to write a brief description of each character when you introduce them or include their characteristics at different moments in the story.
3. Plot: Your story must have an introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
Your short story should be 1-2 pages in length.
You must include at least four examples of figurative language. Identify the figurative language included in your story. For example: The heart is like a pump (simile). methaphor, literal, ect,
