Question 3: Regarding sentencing. Should everyone be sentenced the same, regardless of the circumstances of the crime? For example: should a man who shots his terminally ill wife, who is in extreme pain, to death (assume no mercy killing legislation exist) get the same sentence as a cold-blooded killer who kills his wife for the insurance money? Is discretion by the court a good thing or could it lead to bias or prejudice?
