Question: Homeowner was having trouble with the RCN cable TV box in her basement and requested a technician to remedy the problem. In the process of fixing the issue, the technician noticed an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch next to the cable box. As he was taking a call from his employer, the technician calmly placed the watch in his pocket and took it with him after he completed the job. A few days later, Homeowner was reviewing her security cameras and discovered what the technician had done. Homeowner contacted RCN and filed a formal complaint. RCN investigated and ended up firing the technician, who had worked for the company since its inception. RCN, however, was not successful in retrieving the watch. Accordingly, it has offered Homeowner $2,000, which is approximately half of the market value of the watch.

Question1. Assume that this is RCN's final offer. Would you recommend that Owner accept it? Why or why not? Explain.
