In the beginning, you need to introduce your topic and say what you will talk about in your essay paper. This is like telling everyone why your topic is important.

Next, the most important part of your paper is to support your thesis. You do this by giving reasons that make your idea strong. These reasons are like building blocks that help your thesis

After you give your reasons, it's important to think about what other people might say to disagree with you. You should be ready to answer their questions and explain why your idea still makes sense.

Then, you should defend your main idea even more. This means explaining why your reasons are good and showing that you thought about different opinions. This is likely to be a bit complicated, and the way I do this will demonstrate that I understand the mechanisms of the theory I'm using. I'll give reasons that support my solution and explain how those reasons would lead any reasonable person to the same solution. I might add a formal argument with premises and a conclusion.

Lastly, you need to finish your paper (conclusion) by saying again what your main idea is. This reminds everyone what you talked about and why your idea is a good one.

For this second case response, consider the case of the Ford Pinto.

If you were Lee Iacocca, would you have produced the original version of the Pinto or would you have let the engineers fix the design?

In writing your answer, make sure you:

Defend your answer using one of the theories of corporate social responsibility in this module, and explain why this is the best course of action. (e.g. Stockholder Theory or Stakeholder Theory).
Second, consider an alternative course of action. What else could Lee Iacocca have done in this case (aside from fixing it or producing the flawed model)? Compare this alternative to your choice in part 1 and choose one of these ethical theories (Kantianism, Care Ethics, or Virtue Ethics) to tell me which is the best course of action.
