Emily admits that she tries to pull her weight in the relationship, but admits that it is probably her fault. She feels like a useless waste of space and feels like she can't do anything right. The counsellor notices a large bruise on Emily's shoulder, partially covered by a cardigan, and she covers it up, claiming it was a result of a recent bump.
