Question: ASUS designed a new gaming motherboard, the EVO X870 SUPERDUPERBLAST series. I've heard the embedded graphics card on that thing can draw a frame on the screen in between 20μμs (microseconds) and 100μμs. Unfortunately it's not really so super because the ASUS engineers left out the timer chips.

???????a) Can I still build a preemptive scheduler for this system without the timer chips? If yes, explain how you might do it.

b) Would a round-robin preemptive scheduler using your approach be fair? Explain why or why not. If not, how would you go about fixing it?
