Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (Provincial law) applies to employees in both federal and provincial jurisdictions. This means that all workers in Ontario are covered by this Act. Significant amendments recently made to both the Workers' Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
