She takes no medications, does not smoke, drink alcohol excessively, or use illicit drugs. She works as an administrative assistant for an investment bank. Her review of systems is notable for heat intolerance and mild anxiety. Her vital signs are: temperature 38.5 °C, heart rate 105 beats/minute, blood pressure 117/65 mm Hg, respiratory rate 16 breaths/minute, and oxygen saturation 98% on room air. Her examination is notable for exquisite tenderness over her thyroid gland without palpable nodules.
