Each student will write the conversation about playing the role for 5 minutes. In your role play, you must question Midori to find out their preferences and special requirements using both open and closed questions as well as select appropriate verbal and non-verbal language for your specific group. Your trainer will give you verbal instructions prior to commence the role-play in the classroom. Your trainer will allocate 3 fellow students to be a part of the tour group:

1. Your Trainer/ Fellow Student will play Midori
2. 3 Students will be a part of Japanese group, so you will behave accordingly.
3. You will wait for the Tour Leader to approach you, greet you (culturally appropriate) and introduce him/herself.

Question1: Student 1 - will ask questions in regards to why they were told Breakfast was not included in their rate, even though it is included in the brochure and they were charged for breakfast.

Question2: Student 2 - will request a special service such as a vegetarian meal for your lunch.

Question3: Student 3 - will make a complaint about the water pressure in the room.
