It was once widely accepted that our solar system had nine planets, with Pluto being the 9'th and the only to be discovered by an American. Then about 10 years ago the International Astronomy Union (IAU) met and voted to downgrade Pluto to something called a dwarf planet. Why was this done, and what do you think?
