The essay that I assigned you is a personal statement for the UCAS system. The UCAS system is a website used to apply to different schools (universities and colleges) in the UK. One of the main things that colleges look at is the personal statement, and what they want to see in it is what you're capable of, and what field do you belong in. In my case, I'm interested in the field of accounting and finance. What has to be included is moments or experiances that I had in my life that involves the use of finance, and how it shaped me. So the main questions that I want to answer are the following:

2. What makes you suitable - any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work or other activities.
Since I'm an international studnet I should be focused on these:
As an international student there are a few extra things you should mention.
1. Why you want to study in the UK
2. Your English language skills and any English courses or tests you've taken
3. Why you want to be an international student rather than study in your own country
As well as talk about some extracurricular activities that I participated in such as the rebuilding of the 100 villages in Sri Lanka, if you don't recall the story let me know.

• Structure your info to reflect the skills and qualities the universities and colleges value most.
• Write in an enthusiastic, concise and natural style - nothing too complex.
• Try to stand out, but be careful with humour, quotes or anything unusual - just in case the admissions tutor doesn't have the same sense of humour as you.
• Proofread aloud and get your teachers, advisers, and family to check - then redraft until you're happy with it and the grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct.
