In communicating with stakeholders, it is critically important to focus on how the course will be reviewed and feedback submitted. I follow an iterative approach to the Design and Development components. Iteration is an effective way to manage stakeholder feedback and ensures the course development goes smoothly. To accomplish this, I publish course content each week by module so that stakeholders have an opportunity to review and submit feedback on the design. This is a key factor to a successful implementation and ensures the course design is aligned properly to the original course goals while also allowing for updates and changes to be accomplished along the way instead of at the end. To accomplish this, I prefer to use Articulate Storyline 360 with the Review tool. This application allows me to publish the course as the learner would see it and interact with it. It provides the stakeholders with an opportunity to submit feedback iteratively as the course is being developed and make changes along the way which dramatically increases engagement and meaningful contributions to the design. The stakeholders truly become part of the ADDIE approach and the end result is a much better product for the learner.
