Problem: Betty is standing underneath a large sign at a train station in Kansas City waiting to board a train. While she is patiently waiting, a construction crane across the street drops a heavy wrecking ball on the ground which causes severe vibrations of the ground in the immediate vicinity. The vibrations cause the sign hanging above Betty's head to fall, and it lands on top of her and causes significant damage to her foot. If she later decides to sue the Kansas City train station for the injury she suffered when its sign fell on her foot, why would Betty be most likely to lose her lawsuit?
