Research Question :

Why would an international student select to study an MPA at KOI in 2020 rather than an MBA at the same institution; or vice-versa?

1.1. Aim

The aim of this study is to identify the opinions of the students of doing MPA in KOI in 2020 instead of doing MBA from the KOI in future.

This research will also to identify feasibilities of doing MPA over the MBA course from KOI.

1.3. Benefits---academia and industry benefits.

1.3.1. Academic benefits

This study will benefit the academics as well as the industry simultaneously. This study will identify the benefits of pursuing MPA and MBA course.

1.3.2. Industry benefits

Generally, this will generate a huge number of tariffs for the university as well as teaching job opportunities in Australia. ‘Industrial partnerships’ between the universities and the industry will improve in future (Tight, 2012).

1.3.3. Policy makers benefits

This study will assist the policy makers to make consistent policies for higher education which will further contribute for development of higher education system. Hence, this will attract international and domestic students.

1.3.4. International student benefits

The industry around the world is expected to be benefited on a large scale because qualification from Australian universities is highly recognised in the world. If the international students are attracted to the Australian universities then the collaboration among the industry can be benefitted by the supply of qualified employees.

Our primary research question

'When both are generalist post graduate qualifications with each offering specialist subjects " Why would an international student elect to study an MPA at KOI in 2020 rather than an MBA at the same institution; or vice-versa?...An insight evaluation of opinions held by students completing an MPA at KOI in 2019 to include thier opinion with reasoning of the future of the MPA and purpose of each qualifiction'

We seek an insight i.e. to understand. Therefore 8 interviews for rich data.

1) What might the student reasoned objectives be to complete postgard study in Australia in 2019.

2) Given content knowledge, might the new KOI MBA meet the present purpose of the MPA? How? Why?

3) Does the new MBA meet a different purpose entirely or does it supplement or replace the MPA?
