Topic: Well, during the family conference, initially social worker introduced us with the daughter of Andy which was followed by an overview of our jobs and a little exchange of words with her daughter. Later on, each department start providing solutions to address the problem.

At first the solution which was provided about the clothes was that there are some extra clothes in facility which can be used for Andy. This solution rose a concern in her daughter mind. She shared her concern that she is unaware from where or from whom these clothes are coming also she discussed that how she could be sure that the clothes do not carry any communicable diseases or COVID. Then I told her that there are some charities which also donates some of their new clothes also. Then RPN (Registered practical nurse) explained her all the clothes which are donated to facility are properly sanitized before use. She also told us she does not like that her father wear someone's clothes but if this a matter of couples of weeks, then she is on the plan. Then FSW provide a solution about replacements in the food, like to addition of fibre supplements. Which was followed by me that PSW want Andy to be happy so we are planning to reduce the portion of 3 large meals that Andy had into smaller portions, so that he could eat more frequently throughout the day. Then RPN carried on by introducing some physical activities for Andy which are organised by recreational centers. All these solutions were then put together in one plan by social worker and more concerns were asked. At last Andy's daughter stick with the plan and allowed us to put it in action.

The conflict management style that was used was negotiation. Andy's daughter wanted to be the one who made decisions and did not want to ask for help from anyone else, so negotiation was used when RPN suggested that physical activity be a solution. The second example of conflict management style is evaluation. When RPN suggested Andy eat smaller portions, PSW determined this was an acceptable solution because it would make Andy happy in the long run. The third example of conflict management is accommodation. FSW accommodated to Andy's diet when she suggested Rice Krispies for breakfast and instead of making Andy a sandwich for lunch, a peanut butter and jelly snack was made
