For my lab, I am using a blunted PCR product and a pJet 1.2 blunted vector.
I believe it will be non-directional, but I am not sure why.

The question is:

Why will your ligation be directional or non-directional? In other words, what about the procedure or process will result in it being either directional or non-directional?

Is it non-directional because the PCR product has been blunted, or because of the blunted vector, or both? A clear explanation would be much appreciated.
