Assessment - Reflective Analysis
Task Description:
Each student will be required to submit a written critical reflective analysis of 1500 words in an essay formaton their experience of creating digitalcommunication artifacts in this course.The experience of the production of the first video(A1) and the multi- modal artifact (A2), will form the basis of this reflective essay, which will require the students' assessment of theirown digital competency and integrating it with their learning in a professional development plan.
The purpose of this analysis is to provide you with the opportunity to critically examine the experience (A1 and A2) and not onlyconnect it to the learning outcomes but also plan for continuous learning for future job readiness. You must be able to justify andexplain your experience/insights using the support of five (5) academicpeer -reviewed journal articles and/ or authentic industry white papers. Referencing using APA 7 style.
The marking rubric is provided. This information will alsobe used for AOL data collection.
Students are required to think through the Digital Competency Self- Assessment (enclosed). Please think through the Assessment ( to be enclosed as an Appendix in your Assessment Submission ).

SUGGESTED STRUCTURE:
Write an analytical reflection based on the previous assessments and your self -analysis of your digital competency.
Consider what were your specific goals? What was your specific role and responsibility? What did you accomplish? What you could not? Why / Why not?
Reflective questions:
• What did you do?
• Why and/ or How?
• How you felt or interpreted your experience? Please provide a context for these feelings by providing examples from your experience.
• Did you feel successful? Challenged? What was the most enjoyable/frustrating part of the experience? What do you feel about your self-assessment of your digital competency?
Interpretive Questions: This part of your analysis will focus on what you learned from your experience.
• What did you learn? What worked, what didnot?What would you do differently next time?
• Did you learn anything in particular that you didnot know?
• Why was your experience important?
Decisional Questionsl: This part of your analysis will explore how you will incorporate your new knowledge into your future career plans.
• What decisions have you made based on your experience?
• How has this experience affected your career path, your personal choices, or your use of new information, skills or technology?
• How are you going to use this new knowledge for your professional development/ continuous learning?
