Present the results in the form of ten slides to the teacher
The group leader will upload a PDF file of the slides via Turnitin at the end of class.
Slide Content
Slide 1: Introduction and explanation of why truly workforce-centred health system in Australia is a wicked problem.
Slide 2: Reframe the problem in terms of a question or questions that could lead to micro-solutions and recommendations, i.e. approaching the bigger problem via smaller ones. For example, perhaps you could focus on different types of healthcare workers. This is to be a unique initiative of your group, which would lead to a more specific solution.
Slide 3: Explain the elements of the system now that you have reframed it. Slide 4: List the possible perspectives of different "players" in the system.
Slide 5: List the boundaries (scope and scale of the system), having reframed the problem.
Slide 6: List five datasets which would be useful in getting insight into the problem, now that you have reframed it? Explain why.
Slide 7: Apply the Iceberg model (using Systemic Thinking in contrast to Systems Thinking) to identify underlying causes for the problem (see week 3 slides).
Slide 8: Suggest some preliminary recommendations, solutions and suggest next steps. Please note that slides are to be supported by references (both academic and "grey" material)
