You have been tasked with assessing a societal initiative in the field of addiction for which the communication approach needs to be updated, reevaluated, and tailored for modern audiences. You are expected to send your supervisor a report summary that provides an overview of your rationale for why the societal initiative's communication and messaging approach needs revision, as well as what steps you would recommend taking to update it.

Submit a report summary to your supervisor explaining why the societal initiative is out of date and a general approach the agency can take to update the language used to communicate the initiative.
