Case Study: Max Warrie, a famous former Australian cricketer had agreed to play at the Sydney Cricket Ground in an exhibition match against a rest of the world team in the coming Australian summer. He was to be paid a nominal fee with ticket proceeds going to support a charity. Six months before the scheduled match Max Warrie contacts the organisers and says he will not be playing as he will have family visiting from overseas. The organisers contact you. They want to know what, if any action, they can take against Max. They believe they can get an equally famous former Australian cricketer but at considerably more cost.Advise the organisers.
