Photosynthetic, multicellular eukaryote that is anchored to the rocks surrounding the coastline of crystal lake , but has no roots. Low growing and non-motile, this organism relies on the tidal rise and fall of crystal lake for water and nutrient delivery. When tides are low, the organism takes on a crusty appearance then it blooms into a lush red organism when water covers it.
