Topic is The Pros and Cons of working in a small school district.
Attached is the template for the second phase of my project. I'm not sure at all how to set this up.
Problem Identified
In this section, I have to clearly make your problem statement and define my research question(s). What question(s) are you trying to answer with this research project?
1. This will be a guiding question, not a question you will be asking on a survey.
For example, if the problem you identify is poor communication between departments in your workplace, a guiding question could be: What policies and procedures could improve communication among departments?
However, I have to begin this section with a problem statement that reads: "The problem is..." and also use authoritative references. Give concrete, real-world examples of potential issues if the identified problem is not resolved.
Overall what should be addressed in this section is:
1. Why the issue is considered a problem in your business?
2. Why is it important to your specific organization to find a solution to this problem?
3. What happens if the problem isn't solved?
4. What are the consequences of not addressing the problem?
[This section should contain a few paragraphs once all put together and additional references may be included if more supporting information is needed to highlight the importance of finding a solution to the problem.]
Research Method and Procedures
This section describes the analysis techniques and procedures used to come up with the solution to your problem. This can include observations, surveys, interviews, questionnaires, or case studies.
it's a MUST that I use a survey or questionnaire as the primary means for collecting data. I'm also encouraged to use a secondary method which can include:
Observations
Additional surveys
Interviews
Additional questionnaires
Case-studies
Once Ive have developed research method(s), I have to provide a step-by-step description of how I will collect the data. In other words, how am I going to collect the information in order to propose a solution to the problem? Am I going to use face-to-face interviews, an online questionnaire, phone interviews, or a survey that is mailed to customers or distributed at a staff meeting?
This should be in paragraph form and include the details from below.
Description of Sample (Audience Surveyed)
Description of Procedures (How will it be carried out?)
