Testimonials :
Question 1: Provide two (2) articulate testimonials from past event sponsors. When you invite sponsors to provide a testimonial, ask them to speak to why the event was beneficial to them. (NOTE: For this exercise, these will be mock examples).
Question 2: Event Demographics :
a. Provide a detailed breakdown of the demographics of event attendees. Include all information that the sponsor might find important, such as: how many will attend the event, age, gender, where they come from / where their businesses are located, annual household income, what area of event planning do they specialize in, etc.
Event Overview
The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners or CanSPEP is a non-profitorganization of independent and professional event planners that organize conferences,seminars, and other events across Canada each year. CanSPEP was founded in 1996, and itsprimary purpose is to encourage professionalism and raise awareness of the diverse skills thatevent entrepreneurs have to offer.CanSPEP will hold a 3-day Annual Canadian Conference at the Chelsea Hotel indowntown Toronto on November 24th, 25th and 26th 2022. The conferences will provide anexcellent chance for organizations and guests to network while learning about the year's theme.About 200 attendees are expected to attend. The conference's subject has been set as "EventsThrough The Ages." Plenary sessions, a tradeshow, concurrent breakout sessions, lunch, andcocktail reception will all be part of the event. The conference will conclude with a formal GalaDinner to express thanks for the guests' attendance. The Gala Dinner will also allow visitors tosocialize and interact with several sponsors while enjoying a delicious meal.The Chelsea Hotel Toronto is in downtown Toronto and is only a 30-minute drive fromPearson Airport. This location is perfect due to its central position, accessibility to publictransportation, and hotel capacity. The site and public transportation are ideal since it will allowthe guests to explore the city during their free time. Not only can the hotel handle over 250people in its event area, but it can also easily accommodate all the overnight guests as well withits over 1000 rooms. The hotel map shows the event venues and which rooms and number ofattendees each event will take place in (Appendices A & B).
