Question -

Instructions - Using any value to Rs and know the value of r1 could obtain the value in ri. For example, we can take any value. If chose Rs = 0.9900, the designer could directly use the curves to obtain all the required value which the answer is in this case 0.855.

If want to assure this my choosing value could use the equation created by regression which is

r1 = -30601.9 92528.1 * Rs - 93254.8 * Rs ^ 2 31329.5 * Rs ^ 3

Now could put the value of Rs asked for which is 0.9900

But the result got

Rs=0.9900

r1 = -30601.9 92528.1 * Rs - 93254.8 * Rs ^ 2 31329.5 * Rs ^ 3

r1 = 0.8720

Why the equation does not give me the same value of on the Y-axis as shown in the graph which is 0.855.

We did it with all values and did not get the same values in Y-axis.

What is the problem?
