A. The term 'cunt' is the most offensive and derogatory sexual insult in the English language. Explain 1) why this is so offensive, 2) describe a circumstance where you have been called this, or used the term against someone else and 3) why the corresponding term 'prick' for a male is considered less offensive.

B. The ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) was passed by Congress, and ratified by 36 states, but did not become law because it needed 37 states. Your textbook talks about what changes would have occurred as a result of the ERA becoming law, as do the lecture notes. Look over these items, and discuss whether or not the effects of the ERA have already happened, or whether they still have not happened.
