Q. Two carts on a frictionless air track are made to travel toward each other. As they collide they stick together. if the cart on the left has a mass of 250 grams and is moving at 0.2 meters per second to the right and cart to the right has a mass of 500 grams and moves left at 0.11 meters per second then what would the velocity of the two carts after the collision? The collision is totally inelastic.
