Question: AMERICAN GOVERNMENT: POLITICAL PARTIES Directions: This is a two-part assignment, please read the following carefully: First, identify and discuss the main tenants of the Democrat and Republican parties. What are their main beliefs, who are their biggest supporters, and what kinds of policies do each support? In answering this question, you want to be sure to provide an overview of both parties and demonstrate your understanding of the fundamental differences that animate American politics.
