Question: "I don't think Article 9 of the Japanese constitution should be amended to allow them to have an offensive military force. I do think that area of there constitution does need some consideration and revision, as do all constituions and equivelents. I can understand why some may feel that Japan does need to revise article 9, from "the growing military strength and regional ambitions of neighboring China as well as heightened threats from an unpredictable and nuclear-armed North Korea."
