Can you rephrase this- Since there is a "War on Drugs" there does seem to be a less chance that a child of color being born into this world, will have a chance to be raised by both parents (Alexander 2010). A lot of this just frustrates and makes our country so unbalanced. Why should an African American Blake 3 man be counted and charged as a felon with having marijuana, weed, on him but a white man canget away with it, or even be charged as a misdemeanor? Why do we pinpoint African Americans? We no longer live in a time of slavery; we are all free. There are so many judges in the judicial system that are still racist, and this is a sad belief. We all bleed BLUE and RED. We are all the same. Why do we allow people to pinpoint others because of their skin pigments? That is the only difference!
