Scenario
The Electronic Products Recycling Association is opening a depot at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus. The organization's goal is to reduce the number of electronic devices that end up in landfills by accepting end-of-life electronic devices (old cellphones, laptops, etc.) and recycling reusable materials like glass, plastic, copper, palladium.
As the Communications Coordinator for the University, your job is to produce a one-page document with a short introduction on why electronics recycling is important and instructing students on cybersecurity tips before dropping off their device. You can use the Recycle My Electronics tips as a starting point, but note that that U of M's program will differ in a few important ways:
1. Why recycling is important?
2. Students must verify that their device make and model can be recycled through the program on the program webpage.
3. Staff will be available in person during regular business hours for consultations to support students in preparing their devices, prior to dropping them off.
4. To access the support service, students must make an appointment in advance.
