Why is it Important to Have a College Education?
Students with college degrees are more likely to have career opportunities. That is one of the benefits that you can accomplish if you decide to pursue it. But do you know how important a college education is? Have you chosen what course you will take? So, why not be part of growing industry in graphic designing. Your skills and knowledge could fit into this craft. Moreover, having a degree in this field is worth studying and satisfying. Others will say that you can become a graphic designer without a degree. However, if you are going to study in college and take this as your major course, the opportunities will be limitless.
Young generation nowadays are unwilling to pursue their studies in college. The reason(s) behind this is difficult to understand because some are just excuses. Youngsters are living in a world full of distractions and hesitations rather than having inspiration to have a college education. Additionally, they are somehow contented already for what they have, thinking that it would be enough. Also, financial distress and other problems became a burden for them. However, these circumstances do not hinder those who really want to succeed, and they will use this as weapon instead.
Having a college degree is not merely a title or profession. It is a privilege that we should acknowledge and be grateful. In addition, if we will look at it in a good perspective and use it in a right way, advantages and opportunities will keep knocking at our door. Then, open it to welcome a stable and successful career. Furthermore, the presence of perseverance, courtesy, discipline, motivation, and other positive attributes are needed to complete the process of success. Mind as well that learning never ends not unless we give up. Also, we must always keep in mind to be thankful to those who will help and support us along the way.
The three important key points to remember in pursuing college education are: identify the purpose; know the importance; and value the benefits. According to the article from Forbes by Brandon Busteed, "What's The Purpose of College?" There are two primarily professed purposes of college. The first one is, "College is about preparing a person for work to help them get a good or better job." And the other one is, "College is about more broadly preparing a person for success in life, to be an engaged and enlightened citizen capable of thinking critically and communicating clearly, ultimately able to thrive in their well-being. ("What's The Purpose of College? - Forbes") Based on the blog by The Top 5 Reasons Why a College Education is Important" are:
1. People with college degrees earn more on average; 2. College can help you expand your network; 3. Gaining new skills can help enhance your current career; 4. Your education can prepare you to transition to a new field; 5. A college degree is correlated to lower unemployment rates. Another thing to take into consideration is the post from Indeed-by-Indeed Editorial Team, "9 Benefits of Going to College". The said benefits are the following: 1. Higher income; 2. Employer-offered benefits; 3. Advantages for your family; 4. More career options; 5. Job security; 6. Job satisfaction; 7. Networking; 8. Personal development; 9. Employer interest in furthering your education. All of the three key points mentioned can definitely open your eyes and answer the question, "Why It is Important to Have a College Education?".
As what great philosopher William James said, "the aim of college education is to teach you to know a good man when you see one," the one who can identify the greatness of others is when you have experienced it yourself. Every individual particularly the young ones, should value the importance of education. Especially the college degree, which will be the tool that can help us to achieve what we want to be. Keep on believing, dreaming, and learning no matter how hard your life is. Because at the end of the day, your sacrifices will be paid off.
Finally, a college degree can give you the opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and have a better life.

I have updated my essay based on the information I received, and I believe that this has assisted me to improve the overall quality of my work.
