When one thinks about health and wellness, usually they focus on nurses and public health employees, but health and wellness are concepts that are important to all people regardless of profession. More and more, workplaces are incorporating activities that promote wellness into their company culture. This can include offering incentives for consistently getting yearly physicals, facilitating exercise competitions amongst employees, and receiving insurance "discounts" for ceasing smoking.

In this Discussion, you will discuss the importance of health promotion in any profession and how these concepts might be implemented within a workplace.
