Read the article "Why is bilingual education 'good' for rich but 'bad' for poor, immigrant students?" in this week's module and practice writing objections and concessions using the 3 templates included in Chapter 6 of the textbook. When reading the article, take note of the objection(s) to bilingual education mentioned in the article. To earn the completion grade, you need to follow the instructions below for your submission:
You will need to compose a sentence using each of the 3 templates below and submit 3 sentences in total:
1) Name a naysayer (TSIS 82) by pointing out a point of objection to bilingual education observed in the article.
2) Introduce objections informally (TSIS 83) by stating an objection to bilingual education you observe in the article in a more informal way;
3) Make concessions while still standing your ground (TSIS 88) by acknowledging an objection to bilingual education you observe in the article, demonstrating your partial agreement with the objection, and proposing your own argument that partially differs form the objection.
